Mike Reynolds is an Associate Lawyer at Austring Fendrick & Fairman. Mike was called to the Yukon and British Columbia Bars in 2007. Mike is, primarily, a barrister or “Court room lawyer”, who has focused his practice on criminal and administrative law. His practice within criminal and administrative law includes defending charges pursuant to the Criminal Code, Controlled Drugs and Substance Act, Firearms Act, Customs Act, Wildlife Act, Lands Act, Environment Act, Placer Mining Act, and Occupational Health and Safety Act, and representing the interests of clients before Boards and Tribunals, and at Coroner’s Inquests. Mike has represented many United States citizens, including members of the Armed Forces, who have come into contact with the justice system in Canada. Mike also assists clients with obtaining Canadian Pardons and Record Suspensions, and Waivers for entry into the United States.
Mike was born and raised in Whitehorse, Yukon. He is a graduate of F.H. Collins, where he returns each year to assist with the Law 12 class, Acadia University (B.A. in Sociology) and the University of Saskatchewan (L.L.B.). He is a former varsity athlete and has been an active coach for Basketball Yukon. Mike spends his downtime engaged in weight training, trail running, cross country skiing and, whenever possible, relaxing on the beach at Tagish Lake.
